The Art of AI Prompts workshop

Role: Instructor
Tech stack: Slides, Microsoft Copilot, FigJam

At the 2025 Global Youth Summit, I co-led a workshop with Queen Duncan through Techsgiving's partnership with the King Center. We taught middle and high school students how to leverage generative AI for social good, focusing on collaborative problem-solving and the art of effective prompt engineering.

Using Atlanta's MARTA transit system as a real-world challenge, students were divided into five specialized teams:

-Data and trends analysis
-Competitive analysis of other cities
-Challenge identification
-User experience research
-Marketing strategy

The teams collaborated to craft targeted AI prompts that would help solve their assigned transportation challenge. They shared their findings with the group and we drafted a high-level brief in FigJam to wrap up.
