Jara Montez

I design learning experiences and the systems that power them.

Right now that's working on knowledge management and infrastructure. Previously, it was building edtech programs across enterprise and nonprofits.

When I'm not doing that, I run Doodle Street, a nonprofit that sends free art supplies to classrooms and youth programs.

And, like everyone else in Brooklyn, I'm a #creative.

Webflow Global Leaders

Role: Lead Program Manager
Tech stack: Airtable, Zapier, Webflow, Figma

I designed the relaunch of the Webflow Global Leaders program, which offers support to 100+ global Webflow ambassadors who build community by fostering connections through events, collaboration, and education. In return, Global Leaders receive benefits like a tech stack, event reimbursement, access to beta programs, and exclusive swag.

Program Goals
‍‍
Enhance engagement: Empower Global Leaders to create engaging opportunities that encourage their community to connect, learn, and collaborate in Webflow.

Scale the program:
Lay the groundwork for the program's long-term success by establishing a solid foundation of Leaders and internal operations.

Build efficient workflows: Design and implement streamlined workflows to simplify program operations, data management, and task coordination to ensure smooth execution.

Process and results
The Global Leaders program was paused during the pandemic, so the relaunch was a new moment to pick up momentum and engage the community. Well before launch I facilitated a community meeting with existing leaders to identify pain points and gaps, and leveraged this data to shape the relaunch strategy.

Some easy wins I created after gathering feedback: a consolidated landing page for program information, a media kit for promoting chapter events, and a monthly newsletter for updates.

To optimize operations, I moved the entire program into Airtable (leveraging Zapier and Webflow) to manage application approvals, event proposals, reimbursements, and CSAT surveys.

Since the relaunch, here are a few notable metrics: 100+ applications, 80+ events hosted, 117 chapters across 34 countries.

The Global Leaders landing page was designed by Skylar Kitchen.
